A Little Fall of Rain (Un peu de sang qui Pleure)
I only ever saw him on television, didn't know he could hold a tune as well.
Best Indiana Jones movie 🔥
I’ve been searching for this version for YEARS. As a kid my mom gave me this on cassette and I would listen to it endlessly. Had no idea which version it was and hearing this now brings back so many memories!
I chose this for my dads funeral...x
How can this joyfull character be played by the same actor as the vile butler in Downton?!?!?!
What a fun and mesmerizing performance. Love love love it! ❤❤❤🎉
😂😂😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😂😂😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You couldn't hope to better yhis performance.
Alun Armstrong is always fun to watch, not only in this production of Les Mis, but also in "New Tricks," "Sleepy Hollow," "Year of the Rabbit," and "Braveheart."
I'm here thanks George Costanza
Soft and restful melody played by touch of a talent ed Jim Brinkman .
“Pipe down choir boy!”
Song by Art Garfunkel! LyricsOther recordingsArtists Some enchanted evening You may see a stranger, You may see a stranger Across a crowded room And somehow you know, You know even then That somewhere you'll see her Again and again. Some enchanted evening Someone may be laughin', You may hear her laughin' Across a crowded room And night after night, As strange as it seems The sound of her laughter Will sing in your dreams. Who can explain it? Who can tell you why? Fools give you reasons, Wise men never try. Some enchanted evening When you find your true love, When you feel her call you Across a crowded room, Then fly to her side, And make her your own Or all through your life you May dream all alone. Once you have found her, Never let her go. Once you have found her, Never let her go!
Everybody loves a landlord
I could watch this a million times and still be thrilled!!! Thanks! xx
These two are the best ever.
Pipe down chorus boy!!
Love it 😁 😅
Have watched this most brilliant musical ever over the years. Philip Quast is the only person for this role. I was lucky enough to see him at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival before Covid He sang just as magnificently then as ever before
Thank you so much happy share 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Alun演绎的老板是个奸诈的人设,他的唱功更加专业!25周年的那个旅店老板人设更像个小丑,唱功差了些,但他搞气氛蛮厉害的。 演老板娘的演员没变啊!唱了几十年呢。
Alun is so grimy in this performance! I can’t stop watching this! It’s fantastic!
Best ever. And all the cast of the. 25 anniversary. Don’t think they can better that. Vocally. So many people. Talented. On one stage. At one time. Priceless. I know it’s coming up. 40 th anniversary. There are many talented people out there. But. That 25 th anniversary takes some beating ❤
The 10th anniversary of Les Mis showed it had the dream cast the male lineup in particular Colm Philip Matthew Alum were just brilliant
Love how the whole cast gets involved. For such a sad play they look like they are having the best time.
They all seem to be having so much fun.
The Alun Armstrong you see in this video would have dealt with Polanski the way a righteous human should. A shame what he became.
This is bloody gorgeous!!! Thank you for performing this!!❤
He is perfect for part
The best
Alun is, superb, simply the best.
It is genius music.
Change my mind: The Thernadiers are the true heroes of Les Mis. Life is very hard and while everyone is dying, wracking themselves with pain and misery over ethical dilemmas that are never easily solved, Mr and Mrs T are living their best lives, lying and cheating their way to a solid living.
He would have been around 63 today.
Sad it's out of syc.
Pure genius! All other versions pale by comparison! Cole Porter was the best!
A happy early Christmas to everyone, may it be white and cheerful! God bless you and your family!
still crazy how you can hear lea crystal clear at 3:37
Why not on Spotify ??
Best performance ever! Alun Armstrong fantastic character actor!
Your hard work inspired me, Jonathan Larson….RIP
Die zwei sind die besten!
Alun Armstrong is one of those great British character actors , like Pete Postlethwaite and Toby Jones who outlast all those so called heartthrobs and romantic actors .
BRAVO!!
In my opinion, the 10th anniversary version was the best version. Not only with the singing but the acting and character selection. ❤😊
Best performance of this by far. Hes brilliant.
This song always makes me think of my Grammy. The lyrics to this were printed out in both her scrapbook she got filled with love from friends and family during her 60th birthday party back in 2005…and also, the lyrics were printed on the program for her funeral last year. Cannot stop crying. In fact, I had NO idea it started out originally as a musical theater song, as I had never heard of it before. I thought it was originally a poem before I found out it was a song. But anyway…this makes me cry remembering her and her warm heart. RIP Grammy (1945-2022). God I miss you sooooo much.
My favorite performance of this.
Absolutely brilliant, I know actors have singing on the curriculum at stage school but I’d never have thought that Alun Armstrong was this good 👏👍
Who is the woman who played mrs thenardier
Jenny Galloway. She played the part for some years in London, although she wasn't part of the original London cast.
